This estimate is not a resource applicable to any specific circumstance and should not be relied upon or used as such. Remode Inc. is not responsible for any errors in the results. Responsibility to verify the quantity and completeness of materials or products required for your project relies entirely on an in-person walk through and may have change orders at a later date. To schedule an in-person walkthrough, please visit form.jotform.com/230906980709060. Additional materials may be required based on your local building codes and the physical size, shape, or location for your project. Your existing structure may reveal changes to the project in order to maintain the appropriate building code standards. Remode Inc. makes no representations that the cost listed in the results includes all costs associated to your project. All prices stated herein are subject to change, and the availability of materials is subject to current inventory levels.
THIS QUICK ESTIMATE, THE RESULTS THEREFROM ARE ALL PROVIDED BY REMODE INCORPORATED “AS IS,” AND REMODE INCORPORATED MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Client Terms and Conditions:

  1. Accuracy of Information: The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information to Remode Inc. regarding the project requirements, specifications, and any other relevant details.

  2. Access and Permissions: The client is responsible for providing access to the project site and obtaining any necessary permissions or approvals required for the project. 

  3. Payment: The client is responsible for making timely payments for all services and materials provided by Remode Inc. in accordance with the payment schedule outlined in the contract.

  4. Changes and Delays: The client is responsible for notifying Remode Inc. of any changes or delays to the project schedule or requirements that may impact the completion of the project.

  5. Liability and Insurance: The client is responsible for maintaining adequate liability and property insurance coverage for the project and for informing Remode Inc. of any potential risks or hazards associated with the project.

  6. Client Representations: The client represents and warrants that they have the legal capacity to enter into a contract with Remode Inc., and that all information provided to Remode Inc. is true and accurate to the best of their knowledge.

  7. Termination: The client may terminate the contract at any time by providing written notice to Remode Inc., subject to any applicable termination fees or penalties outlined in the contract. Termination without Remode's consent may incur charges equal to the amount of labor completed by all members of Remode and 25% restocking fee for materials returned.

  8. Non-Performance: The client must indemnify and hold Remode Incorporated harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the contractor's non-performance of services. Non-performance could be due to medical issues, licensing issues, or other reasons not listed.

  9. In the event of any dispute arising under or in connection with this contract, if Remode Inc is the prevailing party we will be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs incurred in connection with such dispute from the non-prevailing party. The prevailing party shall be determined by a court of competent jurisdiction, or through arbitration or other alternative dispute resolution process determined by Remode Inc.

Overall, the client is responsible for providing accurate information, obtaining necessary permissions and permits, making timely payments, and maintaining adequate insurance coverage for the project. The client also assumes the risks associated with the project and is responsible for notifying Remode Inc. of any changes or delays that may impact the project schedule or requirements.

DIY Program Terms and Conditions

1. Purchasing and Delivery of Materials: Remode Inc., located in Seattle, purchases and delivers materials to the home owner for their own remodel. We will ensure that the materials are of high quality and in good condition before delivering them to the customer.

2. Payment: The customer must make full payment for the materials before Remode Inc. can proceed with the purchase and delivery. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards and bank transfers.

Instructional Videos: Remode Inc. provides instructional videos to assist the customer in their remodel project. These videos are intended to be a guide only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice.

3. Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for obtaining any additional information that may be necessary for their particular project, including but not limited to building codes, permits, and zoning regulations, unless they have opted for Permitting Services by Remode Inc.

4. Waiver of Liability: Remode Inc. waives all liability for any injuries or damages that may occur during the remodel project. The customer assumes all risks associated with the use of the materials and their own remodel project.

5. Installation: Remode Inc. does not provide installation services for the materials we purchase and deliver. The customer is solely responsible for installing the materials in their home.

6. Returns and Exchanges: Remode Inc. does not offer returns or exchanges for any materials purchased and delivered. All sales are final.

7. Availability of Materials: Remode Inc. will make every effort to ensure that the materials ordered by the customer are available. However, we cannot guarantee availability and may need to offer substitutions or cancellations in the event of unavailability.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions: Remode Inc. reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The customer will be notified of any changes and should review the updated terms and conditions before proceeding with any purchases.

9. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Washington.

10. Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Remode Inc. and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.

General Contractor Terms and Conditions:

Remode Incorporated is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the non-performance or unsatisfactory performance of the general contractor. The general contractor is responsible for maintaining the necessary licenses and insurances associated to your project before engaging in their services. General contractors will have insurance coverage in the event of an accident and an insurance bond in the event of unsatisfactory performance as required by the State of Washington. Remode Incorporated reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the contractor at any time if their performance is deemed unsatisfactory. The client must indemnify and hold Remode Incorporated harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the contractor's performance or non-performance. The standard for unsatisfactory performance is at the discretion of Remode Incorporated.

Electrical Contractor Terms and Conditions:

Remode Incorporated is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the non-performance or unsatisfactory performance of the electrical contractor. The electrical contractor is responsible for maintaining the necessary licenses and insurances associated to your project before engaging in their services. Electrical contractors will have insurance coverage in the event of an accident and an insurance bond in the event of unsatisfactory performance as required by the State of Washington. Remode Incorporated reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the contractor at any time if their performance is deemed unsatisfactory. The client must indemnify and hold Remode Incorporated harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the contractor's performance or non-performance.

Plumbing Contractor Terms and Conditions:

Remode Incorporated is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the non-performance or unsatisfactory performance of the plumbing contractor. The plumbing contractor is responsible for maintaining the necessary licenses and insurances associated to your project before engaging in their services. General contractors will have insurance coverage in the event of an accident and an insurance bond in the event of unsatisfactory performance as required by the State of Washington. Remode Incorporated reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the contractor at any time if their performance is deemed unsatisfactory. The client must indemnify and hold Remode Incorporated harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the contractor's performance or non-performance.

Consultant Terms and Conditions:

Remode Incorporated is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the advice, recommendations or suggestions provided by the consultant. Remode Incorporated reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the consultant at any time if their performance is deemed unsatisfactory. The client must indemnify and hold Remode Incorporated harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the consultant's performance or non-performance.

Designer Terms and Conditions:

Remode Incorporated is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the advice, recommendations or suggestions provided by the designer. The design consultant will provide their services in accordance with Remode’s standard of operations, and will allow 3 adjustments to renderings for free. The client must indemnify and hold Remode Incorporated harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the designer's performance or non-performance.

Off-Site Employee Terms and Conditions:

Remode Incorporated is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the non-performance or unsatisfactory performance of off-site employees. Remode Incorporated reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the off-site employee at any time if their performance is deemed unsatisfactory. The client must indemnify and hold Remode Incorporated harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the off-site employee's performance or non-performance.
